Change the lives of shelter pets
Mission Forever Friend
Together, we change lives every April. We provide nutrition and support for thousands of shelter pets across Europe getting them ready to find their forever homes. We recently donated 200,000 meals to shelter pets. But our work isn't done yet -- keep reading to find out how you can support shelters all year round.
Our work doesn’t end here. At Hill’s, we believe all pets deserve a lifetime of love – our Food, Shelter & Love programme has helped over 14 million shelter pets, and counting, find their forever homes. Partnering with shelters across Europe and worldwide, we’ve donated more than 250,000 meals in 2023 to help pets get adoption-ready. Will you join us?

Volunteer
One of the best ways to help pets in need is by
volunteering at a local shelter. Here are a few
of the ways you can contribute:
Go for a dog walk
Socialising shelter dogs, whilst helping them get fresh air and daily exercise.
Take some photos
Photos that show a pet's true personality can really make a difference to their chances of adoption.
Help with laundry
Shelters are always in need of clean bedding, sheets, and towels.
Join the animal rescue team
Rescue volunteers work to save pets displaced by crisis or natural disaster.
All shelters have their own needs, so be sure to call ahead to find out what help they need.
